Description

We will be discussing a 65-year-old male patient that presented with right arm weakness

Objectives

Localize the lesion causing focal arm weakness using history and neurologic examination, with attention to cortical vs subcortical patterns.

Identify likely vascular etiologies, including cortical stroke, lacunar infarct, and large vessel disease, based on clinical and imaging features.

Outline acute stroke evaluation and management, including imaging selection, reperfusion considerations, and early secondary prevention strategies.
