Objectives

1. Participants shall be able to identify the brain mechanisms that generate REM sleep and those that generate dreaming and the difference between the two.

2. Participants shall be able to judge the scientific evidence for and against the view that dreams are clinically useful material in psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
