1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Hours

Description

Brief description:

This clinician-facing lecture reframes recovery after sepsis and major physiologic stress as a measurable host-response trajectory, linking bedside course to immune capacity, proteomics, and calibrated prediction.

Dates and Times

Start: 7/29/2026 7:00 AM
End: 7/29/2026 8:00 AM

Objectives

Explain why similar early physiology can lead to divergent recovery after sepsis, surgery, trauma, or critical illness.

Interpret immune-function, proteomic, and clinical-trajectory data as measures of host-response capacity over time.

Use recovery biology to frame trial enrichment, calibrated prediction, and patient-centered endpoints beyond survival or discharge.
