Description
OB/GYN Grand Rounds topics are presented by experts in their fields and are selected as highly relevant and important to the development of a current base of medical knowledge necessary to maintain a high level of care. These presentations are intended to introduce residents, faculty and affiliated community physicians to the most current and accepted approaches to the discipline of Obstetrics and Gynecology including medical problem solving, surgical skills and new techniques in diagnosis and treatment.

Objectives
At the end of this presentation the participants will:
1. Be familiar with the history of operative vaginal delivery (OVD)
2. Learn about the array of instruments used in OVD
3. Learn about the current trends of practicing OVD in the US and abroad
4. Receive clinical guidance on correct technique of vacuum extraction5. Learn about the short and long term complications of OVD
