Objectives
1. Understand that certain orthopedic procedures benefit from very precise reproduction of a preoperative plan.
2. Understand various ways that surgeons try to reproduce preoperative plans at the time of surgery.
3. Briefly review some "manual techniques".
4. Computer navigation in orthopedic surgery.
5. What is "registration".
6. Robotic orthopedic surgery.
7. Augmented reality in orthopedic surgery.
8. 3D printed jigs in orthopedic surgery.
9. Understand the development of a novel technology developed as an alternate to existing technologies to achieve precise reproduction of a preoperative plan.
