Objectives
To understand recent data from studies of pediatric DKA, including studies pertaining to fluid infusion protocols, serum sodium trends during DKA treatment, acute kidney injury in DKA and cerebral edema / cerebral injury in DKA.
Discuss how recent data from these studies should inform clinical protocols for pediatric DKA treatment.
