Description
The Flipped Classroom model, has traditional teaching turned on its head
to create a more dynamic and collaborative learning environment. This session will
showcase what is assessment of learning in a flipped classroom model and why is it
important, and practical methods of assessing student learning. Participants will be
encouraged to reflect on where and how such approaches to assessment could enhance
their own teaching in Medical School.

Objectives
After this workshop participants will be able to:
● Identify challenges to student "flipped" learning.
● Describe best practices of “flipped” learning assessment
● Design “flipped” learning assessments with the potential to enhance their
teaching.
