Description

Ophthalmology Clinical Rounds consist of a 1.5 hour lecture time by faculty and invited speakers who focus on new advances in the clinical and basic science fields of Ophthalmology. Emphasis is placed on contemporary techniques of diagnosis and medical/surgical therapy. The sessions provide a forum for group discussion of difficult or interesting diagnostic/management problems encountered by the specialist.

- Provide an overview and decode the various acronyms used to categorize optic neuritis
- Identify characteristic and concerning features that might predict a worse outcome and compel a more aggressive treatment strategy
- Update on the evolving ideas and approach to treatment of the various categories of acute optic neuritis
