Description

This presentation with be a brief introduction to HIV - the epidemiology, virology, and risks of exposure. It will also touch base on how to proceed when exposed to potential bloodborne pathogens, such as HIV, at SBUH. And the presentation will conclude with an introduction to how HIV is diagnosed, monitored, and evaluated.
