Description
This conference will cover an overview of the most common CNS infections including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites including macroscopic features, microscopic features, and relevant clinical information required for diagnosis.

Objectives
1. Identify characteristic gross and microscopic features of infections of the central nervous system.
2. Distinguish etiologies of CNS infections based on clinical history and microscopic features of infection.
3. Identify features of viral and parasitic infections of the central nervous system and distinguish between the two.
