Description

This activity is designed to provide an opportunity for residents and faculty to review clinical case scenarios and correlate them with ultrasound findings, improving their understanding of and ability to interpret imaging and develop appropriate care based on findings.

Objectives

Recognize and describe the ultrasound findings of malignant adnexal masses.

Recognize and describe the ultrasound findings of abnormally thickened endometrium in a postmenopausal patient.

Recognize and describe the ultrasound findings of intramural and submucous myomas. Understand the utility of SIS and 3-D ultrasound in determining myoma location.

Understand the FIGO classification of Myomas.

Recognize and describe the ultrasound findings of adenomyosis including the findings on 3-D imaging.



Recognize and describe the ultrasound findings ACUM, Accessory Cavitated Uterine Malformation
