1. Learn the diagnostic criteria for Intestinal failure (IF) and recognize its etiology
2. Identify complications of IF
3. Develop an evidence-based medical management plan focusing on the newest available therapies
Optimizing TPN: fish oil (ω3) lipid-based emulsions
Hormonal treatment to promote intestinal adaptation\
4. Identify appropriate indications and timing for referral for intestinal transplantation
