Objectives

1. Describe recent advances in survival data, clinical outcomes, and care approaches for infants with Trisomy 13 and 18, and integrate these updates into evidence-based counseling and care planning.

2. Evaluate communication approaches that foster trust, clarity, and shared decision-making with families navigating complex congenital diagnoses.

3. Identify system-level factors that influence access to specialized care, palliative services, and surgical interventions for infants with Trisomy 13 and 18.
