  2. Highlight perioperative considerations for diabetic patients
  3. Outline the glucose control targets in surgical patients and the importance of glucose control
  4. Management of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
  5. Briefly highlight how to manage the emerging technologies in DM management

Fluids in Critical Care: From Resuscitation to De-Resuscitation

  1. Reframe intravenous fluids as a pharmacologic therapy with dose-dependent harm
  2. Understand phase-based fluid management using the ROSE model
  3. Apply physiologic and dynamic markers to guide fluid therapy at the bedside
