Description

We will be discussing a 68-year-old male with unsteady gait, right sided weakness and dysphagia.

Objectives

Localize neurologic deficits using history and examination to identify findings suggestive of posterior circulation or brainstem involvement.

Interpret neuroimaging and vascular studies to determine the underlying stroke mechanism and guide diagnostic evaluation.

Discuss acute management and secondary prevention strategies, including dysphagia assessment, rehabilitation planning, and indications for multidisciplinary care.
