Description

We will be discussing a 21-year-old male with presented with aphashia

Objectives

Develop a differential diagnosis for acute aphasia in a young adult, including vascular and non-vascular etiologies.

Localize language deficits using the neurologic examination and correlate findings with relevant neuroanatomy and imaging.

Outline the diagnostic evaluation and management of suspected acute stroke in a young patient, including consideration of uncommon stroke mechanisms and secondary prevention strategies.
