Learning Objectives: 1. Describe how psychiatric comorbidities can affect care in patients newly diagnosed with focal epilepsy; 2. Develop a strategy for identifying psychiatric risk in newly diagnosed epilepsy patients; 3. Develop an interdisciplinary framework for concurrent management of psychiatric issues and epilepsy.
