Objectives

1. Demonstrate an understanding of diagnostic pearls for a variety of pediatric conditions, encompassing both general pediatrics and common subspecialty disease processes, and application of these pearls to clinical practice.

2. Illustrate knowledge of underlying pathophysiology and disease states for a variety of pediatric conditions spanning both general pediatrics and sub-specialty pediatric disciplines.

3. Illustrate knowledge of treatment modalities for a variety of pediatric conditions, spanning both general pediatrics and sub-specialty pediatric disciplines, and application of these treatments in clinical practice.

4. Demonstrate understanding of basic human subjects research methods and laboratory studies.
