Description

Dr. Martin will review children's mental health illnesses and many of the aspects surrounding them, as well as treatment.

Objectives

1. Quantify ways in which children's mental illnesses are real, common, treatable, and preventable conditions with lifelong impact.

2. Consider unlocking their own potential as clinicians in fighting stigma and advancing mental health priorities.

3. Appreciate ways in which self-care and a vision of broader service can be powerful ways for us as providers to prevent and treat burn-out, vicarious trauma, and our own mental health challenges.
