Description
This conference is intended for Stony Brook OB/GYN Faculty, Residents and Fellows only.
Gyn/Ultrasound Case Conference provides an opportunity for residents and faculty to review clinical case scenarios and their correlation with ultrasound findings. On this basis, it addresses the need to learn the use of ultrasound imaging in the diagnosis of gynecologic diseases. At this week's session, topics will include:
- ruptured ectopic
- ectopic
- endometrial polyp
- dermoid cyst
- vaginal myoma
- ovarian cyst, pregnant female

Objectives
To use case studies to correlate clinical history, physical examination findings and ultrasound with findings at the time of surgery and pathology. Participants should be able to interpret endovaginal and abdominal ultrasound and use it to aid in the diagnoses of common gynecological process' such as:
- Pelvic Masses
- Gynecological Malignancies
- Infectious Processes of the Female Genital Tract
- Ectopic Pregnancy
