Objectives
- Distinguish pathological targets in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and consider opportunities to limit reperfusion injury
- Describe the signaling pathways connecting the stroke-injured brain and peripheral tissues and how these modulate tissue injury.
- Discuss the therapeutic applications of chemically modified tetracyclines to treat reperfusion injury following ischemic stroke.
