  1. To recognize and understand the various healthcare disparities that affect epilepsy patients, emphasizing those unique to medically underserved communities.
  2. To describe and evaluate the specific socioeconomic factors, access to care issues, and racial and gender disparities that contribute to unequal health outcomes in epilepsy patients
  3. To share and interpret relevant data on healthcare disparities and mortality rates among epilepsy patients, with a focus on the Mississippi area, to highlight the urgency and scope of the issue.
