Anesthesia clinical staff/ faculty will discuss and review patients with Sepsis.

Objectives

1. To understand the current debate about the use of etomidate in the patient with sepsis.
2. To understand the current recommendations about the use of etomidate in the pediatric patient with sepsis.
3. To review the implications of pulmonary aspiration in the perioperative period - risk factors and management.
4. To review the management of severe intraoperative bronchospasm.
